Building Your Bottom-Line (MRCs 1.5)

In this presentation, James will discuss how pressure from non-professional inspectors is preventing the home inspection industry from providing the level of service that was intended. He will also discuss how home inspectors can increase revenue, and stand out in the industry, by providing more detailed reports, and using a professional fee structure.

Presenter:  James Buren  James has been a home inspector since 1997. His hands-on experience began in 1979 with his father's Burcon Construction. He holds a BA in Development and Environmental Studies (1993). He received CAHPI’s National Certificate Holder® (NCH)® standing in 2006. Employed by the Ontario Green Communities he assisted in development of the Federal Government’s Energuide for Houses program. Since 2019 James has been a Director of the OAHI. He sits on the EPCC responsible for the OAHI Annual Education Conference and on-line learning to ensure the ongoing improvement of the industry."
