Summary: Back by popular demand! As presented at the 2023 CAHPI National Annual Conference, this session will review the basics of heat pumps, looking at the components and reviewing key terms like Balance Point, Coefficient Of Performance, SEER and HSPF period. We will also look at the cost of installation and operation relative to other heating and cooling sources. We will touch on Mini Splits and discuss some inspection tips.
